B.R.E.A.K.I.N.G N.E.W.S. MUSIC ICON KING SUNNY PASS ON

The rumour mill was agog with the death rumour of king of juju music, King Sunny Ade (KSA) on Monday, May 2. But contrary to the rumour, it has been confirmed that Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye a.k.a. KSA is not dead.
KSA’s manager Clement Ige said the story is not true. Ige said nothing was wrong with KSA, adding that “he is hale and hearty.” Reeling out the programmes of the popular musician, Ige said:
“KSA was in Ibadan Monday and will also grace an appointment with the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona Tuesday. I urge the people and the entire Nigerians not to panic and disregard the rumour. KSA is in good health and full of life.”
KSA was given a Silverbird Lifetime Entertament Award on Sunday, April 24 alongside Dr. Victor Uwaifo and film maker Eddie Ugboma The guitar maestro will turn 70 on September 22 and plans are in top gear for a grand birthday celebration of the music icon who is the first Nigerian to be nominated for a Grammy award in 1987.
